
Pocky are bread sticks covered with various flavors and most common one being chocolate. In this post I’ll be showing how to make this simple treats along with dip sticks, they are same as making pocky but with a dip you can enjoy the same thing in two ways yay. Continue reading to know how to make these simple chocolate covered sticks.

Ingredients:
- 100 g milk/dark chocolate
- 200 g all purpose flour
- 50 g rice flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 100 g sugar powder
- Pinch of salt
- 50 g butter
- 1 cup milk
Method:
- In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients, all purpose flour, rice flour, baking powder, sugar powder and salt, mix it well.
- Add butter and vanilla essence into the dry mix and combine it.
- Now add milk in parts to the dry mix and form a dough which is not hard and not springy.
- divide the dough into small portions and roll it into 1 cm thick sheets.
- Trim the edges to form a square sheet and slice them into 1 cm thick strips, these strips you can keep as is to make dipsticks.
- To form pocky, roll the strips to form a thin long cylinder.
- Bake the dipsticks and pocky sticks in a preheated oven at 200c for 10-12 min on top rack.
- Melt the chocolate using double boiler method, pour the melted chocolate into a glass to cover the sticks with the chocolate, cover 3/4th of the stick with chocolate.
- Allow the chocolate to harden by placing the sticks upright on a stand. If you don’t have a stand, fill a vessel with rice and stick the uncovered part in the rice. Place them in the refrigerator for 1-2 hrs.
- To make chocolate dip for the dipsticks just add some milk or cream in the melted chocolate and mix well.
