Ingredients:
- 6 hard boiled eggs
- 2 glasses rice
- 3 tsp Chili powder
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 medium sized onions
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- Whole spices(2 elaichi,1 cinnamon stick, 2 bay leaves, 1 tsp Shah jeera, 1 star anise, 1 mace, 1 tsp jeera )
- 2 tsp biryani masala
- 3 tsp Dania powder
- Handful pudina leaves
- 2 green chilies
- Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp ghee
Method:
- Add 2 tsp oil into a pan, then add 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp Dania powder and salt to taste mix it well on low flame and add the boiled eggs(slit slightly on 2 sides) into the pan.
- Place a pressure cooker on low flame and add 2 tbsp of ghee and 2 tbsp of oil to this add the whole spices and saute it for a while then add 2 green chilies and sliced onions into this and fry till it turns golden brown.
- Now add pudina into the cooker and a tbsp of ginger garlic paste and fry it for a while.
- Add 2 tsp Dania powder, 2 tsp chili powder, 1&1/2 tbsp biryani masala and 1 tsp turmeric powder and saute it for a while, then add 1 cup curds to the mixture and fry till it looses some water content.
- Now add uncooked rice into this and mix it well and water into the cooker (for every glass of rice add 2 glasses of water) and salt to taste and finally place the eggs on top and cook it till 3 whistles.
- Serve it with some raita.
